About Nordic Bites

Nordic Bites – Danish Soul, Filipino Warmth

Welcome to Nordic Bites, where Danish soul meets Filipino warmth in the heart of Stockton. Our café is built on the fusion of two cultures—blending the clean, comforting flavors of Scandinavia with the vibrant hospitality and heart of the Philippines.

Our menu brings this fusion to life through Nordic-inspired open-faced sandwiches, Danish-style hotdogs, and our signature “smørrebrød “sandwiches packed with bold flavors and creative twists. A guest favorite, Smushi board delivers rich flavor in every bite, perfectly paired with our Nordic latte or Elderflower calamansi juice. At Nordic Bites, tradition and culture come together in a cozy space where every dish reflects our passion for food.

You remember that scene in Ratatouille where Anton Ego gets sent back to his childhood after his first taste of Remi’s food? That’s the same experience I had at Nordic Bites, there’s no other way to describe it. Every single ingredient is fresh and well thought out, so much attention is paid to the dish to make sure every ingredient harmonizes with the rest. I will be coming back to try their other options on the menu, I recommend you do as well!

1st timer. Just seen social media posting. I ordered sisig comes with garlic rice and Halo Halo. Great flavor and serving is big. Halo Halo is for 2 people, awesome topped with 2 scoops of ice cream. I would say bring your appetite when visiting this place. I shall return.

First time trying this spot. Keep an open mind that it’s a Filipino/Danish fusion. Food: ordered Beef Bistek from the Filipino specialty menu. Everything about it was so good from the pickled items to the main dish. Well seasoned and big portion. Drinks: Biscoff latte and the Dubai pistachio latte were very tasty. If you’re looking for a strong coffee flavor the these drinks aren’t for you cuz they are more for the sweet and savory pallet. Service: the girls at the counter were nice and informative if you had any questions Atmosphere: love the decor, music and vibes inside with good amount of seats/tables Price: 3 items costs about $33 total. Drinks were quite pricey but the food is reasonably priced for its portion. Def will continue to come back to try other items in the menu. ☺️ I didn’t get to take a picture of other items they sell but they do offered a variety of sandwiches and hotdogs too!

I really like the Cafe atmosphere, it's very relaxing. The staff are very helpful in reccomending good food. I really like the mango cream cake! It's not too sweet, and very creamy. There are fresh mango chunks inside, which gives a refreshing taste.

EDIT 1/19, from 3 stars to 5: Serving size of the chicken has gotten bigger significantly like double. Finally turned the heater at comfortable level And food arrived within 10 mins. Would definitely recommend and come back! Original review: _--------------------- Cute new restaurant. Pros: Food was good. I tried the Chicken inasal. Flavor was good, chicken was very small but serving size of the garlic rice and pickled carrots was good and so was the taste. I love the sauce reduction. Service was great, front staff was nice. Location is convenient with a jap store beside it, milk tea place etc. Cons on why i only gave 3 stars: Food took 25 mins to come out, it looks like its fresh from the airfryer so im not too mad but if youre hungry prepare for the wait. Ube bites was good but tasted alcohol-y, the ube extract they used was probably the one that tasted very alcohol, which i mistakenly used before and had the same taste and it gave it a bad aftertaste. Place was really cold, idk why they didnt turn on the heat on a 42f weather lol Overall not a deal breaker and would comeback to give it another try.
